ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:

We offer paid, full-time summer internships for many majors, with fulfilling work and opportunities to grow. To help launch your career, we provide dedicated staff mentors. Youll also learn from senior leaders and industry experts. As part of the Federal Reserve System, youll be connected to a professional network that spans the nation. You will begin in early June and will be based in the Dallas office.

ABOUT YOUR TEAM:

The Business Continuity team in the Information Technology Services department plans and prepares for continuous operations in the event of a business disruption. The team provides vulnerability and compliance management, incident response, and security architecture and forensics services to the District.

WHAT YOULL DO:
  • Assist with administrative tasks, plans, tests, exercises, meetings, equipment and special projects
  • Engage with various levels of leadership across the organization through interpersonal and virtual collaboration
  • Participate in staff meetings and related organizational functions
  • Other tasks and projects may be assigned based on department need
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Studying Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Risk Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook
  • Must be comfortable interviewing subject matter experts on specific subjects
  • Ability to research and gather detailed data and document findings
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & requirements to meet project goals
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

WORK HOURS:

Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/ week). Some additional hours may be required

NOTES:

This is a security sensitive position. By federal law, this position requires that the candidate be a U.S. citizen.
