Senior Manager, Process Automation Dallas/en-US/RyanCareers/job/Dallas/Senior-Manager--Process-Automation_R0005413-1/applySenior Manager, U.S Operations is responsible for design, development and implementation of Business Process Management (BPM), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Process Metrics/Reporting solutions across the U.S. Division. This is a leadership role that will require the hiring, development and management of employees within the Process Automation team.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryans Key Results

People:

  • Create a positive team member experience
  • Responsible for critical communications with stakeholders and leadership throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage, lead, mentor, and advise team members in all facets of BPM and RPA from business case evaluation, requirements, design, planning, project management, development, testing, UAT, production readiness, deployment, continuous improvement, and support.

Client:

  • Responds timely to client inquiries and requests from customers (internal users) and business owners
  • Accountable for end-to-end results of multiple, parallel workstreams
  • Accountable for exemplary client service across entire project portfolio
  • Engage with the shared services organization to secure project resources.

Value:

  • Evaluate the value of implementing BPM/RPA across the division and deploy a strategy and a detailed plan of execution
  • Manage the process automation function and its budget to deploy viable solutions
  • Create, adapt and improve process standards and best practices in the area process assessment, requirements, solution design, and development
  • Evaluate opportunities and implement process automation solutions that drive operational efficiencies
  • Actively manages backlog of development in these systems and manages stakeholder expectations effectively and efficiently
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

A bachelor's degree or master's degree in software engineering, information systems (MIS) or computer science is strongly preferred. Other STEM degrees with relevant work experience or coursework are also encouraged to apply. Strong track record of delivering multiple enterprise-grade automation solutions. Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of algorithms in the Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning and Intelligent Control fields. Eight years of Process Excellence experience (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus). Three years of management experience with increasing accountability for client-facing project outcomes. Eight years in an internal or external client service role.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to engage with teams throughout the organization around Process Automation / Process Management technologies.
  • Knowledge of BPMN and other process modeling languages.
  • Knowledge of UML and other requirements modeling languages.
  • Knowledge of BPM, RPA, and reporting tools (command of at least one).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver custom software solutions (small to medium scale)
  • Understanding of web front-end technologies and development practices.
  • Value stream mapping, process engineering, and workflow design.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage in agile/scrum development environment.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid drivers license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees in their practice and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firms policies and applicable laws.
