OCC is looking for a systems analyst to join our staff in Enterprise Technology Services. This individual will work with process owners to draft business requirements and convert them into technical specifications for the development team. This position entails assessing existing I.T. solutions, analyze their functionality, efficiency and productivity, and help design, develop and implement new technical solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Examining existing data models and evaluate system specifications for business requirements
Analyze, translate and document business/user requirements
Create and maintain UML diagrams to be used in systems design
Work with architects and engineers to come up solutions addressing business needs

Ability to understand applications from programming and business perspectives, and to gather and communicate requirements

Understanding of UML Diagrams including: class, sequence and use case diagrams
Understanding of systems analysis and design
Education and/or Experience:
A degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience working in an agile development team or some other SDLC
