Morgan Stanley Home Loans has centralized its operations and is expanding its retail Mortgage Lending Division. We are looking for the best of the best to provide premier mortgage services to our clients. As part of Global Wealth Management Division (GWM), we have a partnership with Morgan Stanleys retail brokerage network that provides a limitless proprietary source of inbound business.
The Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) oversight team is responsible for monitoring and contributing to the improvement of vendor performance by working closely with front line and BPO leadership as well as internal Morgan Stanley operational partners to elevate overall client experience.
Aggregation, tracking, root cause analysis and resolution of closing, processing, post-closing and mailroom identified issues
Help triage daily transactional escalations between Business Unit (BU) and BPO
Facilitation of communication, inquiries, issue remediation, and project management across BU, BPO and Risk Partners
Onsite review (Cincinnati), engagement, training of management and front line resources in all matters relating to mortgage process
Make recommendations and participate in the improvements/changes to existing and future processes
Assist in the monitoring, review and improvement of BPO SLA levels in coordination with Vendor Management Office (VMO)
Produce and personally deliver presentations, ad hoc reporting to leadership and senior management
Maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external partners
*This position will require 50% travel*
5 to 10 years of experience in mortgage originations/operations
Direct verbal communication with client, field and operational partners in a client focused organization
Strong understanding of End to End mortgage process, ELC and compliance
Bachelors degree preferred
Outstanding written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skills
Ability to manage processes and/or projects without supervision
Deep knowledge of the mortgage originations industry and associated processes
A strong understanding of industry standard regulatory requirements
Ability to analyze complex issues while ensuring deliverables are met
Ability to manage time, prioritize and plan accordingly
Ability to manage key relationships with internal/external stakeholders
Ability to negotiate and influence clients on key deliverables and timelines
