Weaver is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Associate/Consultant to join our growing cybersecurity team in the IT Advisory Services (ITAS) department. Our ITAS team works with our clients to make a more risk-aware, effective IT organization that can deliver transformational change based on strategic business objectives. Our cybersecurity services focus on strategy and risk (frameworks and controls), compliance (PCI, ISO, CMMC, etc.), and security testing (vulnerability assessments and penetration tests). These cyber services complement our IT Advisory Services which include Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance Monitoring, SSAE 18 (SOC 1, 2 & 3) Reporting, IT Internal Audits, external audit support over IT, and cybersecurity assessments. A Senior Cybersecurity Associate/Consultant is primarily responsible for execution of various engagement security objectives within assigned areas. This includes performing security assessments, participating in project scoping, leading meetings with clients, and independently conducting testing. A Senior Cybersecurity Associate/Consultant will also have strong communication skills including the ability to participate in project reporting and clearly articulate security issues to the client and internal team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT operations and technology components, as well as the security threats that could introduce risk to the environment and cause negative outcomes. The candidate should develop a firm understanding of compliance requirements and security controls that can protect organizations and align with strategic objectives of the organization.
