The Role: Head of Business Operations

Grade ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 15

The Location: New York, London, Houston

The Team: This role will sit within Platts' operating committee and will report directly to the President. The Head of Business Operations will lead operational departments that support the overall divisional business.

Responsibilities:
  • Business continuity (BCP) - Oversees the organization's ongoing operations and procedures
  • Business controls and quality (BCQ) - Ensures product quality is maintained, improved, and managed for scale by developing quality drivers, control processes, and associated metrics
  • Coordination with audit, risk management & compliance - Collaborates with audit, risk management, and compliance to ensure organization compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations
  • Design and production1 (e.g., copy editing, publishing) - Manages the design, production, translation, distribution and analysis of content to a unified external experience of the organization
  • Content Operations - Leads the operations support team across News, Analytics & Pricing for the division optimizing the workflow of price assessment data
  • Product Operations - Creates standards for product processes and frameworks, KPIs and educational programs
  • Special projects - Delivers on Special Projects to improve business performance and support the business strategy
  • Technical learning and development - For the NewCo business lines
  • Help to set and drive the new culture as part of the divisional leadership team
  • Drives collaborative working within function and across functions to ensure growth and success
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven leadership in innovating process operation transformations
  • Experience with setting business continuity and disaster recovery strategic plans
  • Track record in driving automation-driven transformation to enhance scalability and efficiencies
  • Strong knowledge of CX, lean six sigma, data centers and corporate IT systems
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to build relationships and work with more technical teams
  • Track record of well-rounded leadership skills, strategy, planning, or operations
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Master's degree preferred (in Finance-related field) or equivalent experience
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $147,600 to $374,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
