The Opportunity:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will consult and contribute to business process improvements of IT policies, procedures, tools, security controls and infrastructure. You will maintain the operational cloud environment, perform infrastructure deployments and ensure the production environment is operating securely and efficiently using automation tools. You will work with Infrastructure Engineering to make sure all deployments follow standards, are compliant and secure. You will report to the Cloud platform team lead.

The Opportunity:

The Day-to-Day:
- Develop, implement and maintain scalable Cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with partners to understand their cloud requirements and design effective solutions
- Recommend Cloud & AI-based solutions, document and communicate with all partners
- Deploy enterprise scaled cloud resources that can be used across technology organizations using code
- Follow security audit requirements and controls in every action
- Use configuration management and automated deployment tools to provide cloud-based solutions and services ensuring best practices
- Work with solution architects, tech leads and partners to confirm developed solutions align with existing standards, meet security controls and meet cloud computing best practices
- Provide international and 24/7 support through on-call duties and working a flexible off-hours schedule for planned and unplanned maintenance
- 8+ years of experience deploying resources and managing infrastructure through both manual and automated pipelines in an IT infrastructure and operational environment
- 5+ years of experience working with enterprise cloud environments, specifically AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Maintain resources in cross-platform environments across multi-cloud or hybrid setups (AWS/Azure).
- Cloud infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Build, deploy, and manage public cloud IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) services on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) and/or Azure (e.g., VMs, App Services).
- Deploy and provision cloud resources using Terraform across AWS or Azure.
- 4+ years of experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions to build automated cloud infrastructure and script workflows across production and non-production environments using any Azure or AWS cloud platform.
- 3+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using YAML/YML for GitHub Actions and troubleshooting applications within an AWS or Azure cloud environment
- 1+ years of hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes-based platforms, with a preference for cloud-based AI services like Azure AI.
- Knowledge of identity management, security controls, compliance and encryption
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
- $80,200 - $150,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
- Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
