A global investment management house is launching a FinTech investment platform in Germany and is looking for a Finance Manager with knowledge of HGB/German GAAP and ideally BaFin submissions to join the growing team.
You will work in a start up environment with the backing of a leading global name in a broad Finance role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements under HGB principles
- Prepare regulatory returns for BaFin and BundesBank where appropriate
- Attend industry events to keep updated on regulatory topics
- Supervise board reporting process
- Lead audit processes
- Preparation of P&L statements and forecasts
- Assist in the supervision of outsourced tax specialists
Ideal Candidate:
- Good knowledge of HGB/German GAAP
- Experience preparing returns for BaFin is preferred
- Fluent German and English
- Good communication skills
