VTB Africa is looking for candidate for the Head of Credit role

Structuring and analysis of credit operations, as well as the definition of the risks of credit operations. For this purpose, you should organize the tasks described below:

 

  • The definition of the level of credit risk and others related to the execution of the risk operation; the definition of seurating, as well as the level of credit risk allowed in the Bank and approved in accordance with the methods and requirements established by the Bank's regulatory standards; the definition of Credit quality.
  • Evaluation of the Client's financial and credit situation; the verification of the conformity of the conditions of the credit operation with the defined credit limit; acceptance of the technical terms of the credit operation.
  • The final structuring of the credit operation. Improvement and formation of credit conclusion based on expert comments.
  • Presentation of the credit conclusion for consideration by the Credit Committee.

Work with the Legal Department in the process of preparing the credit documentation and the guarantees provided.

Monitoring of the credit operation, as well as the operations related to the granting of credit

Credit Monitoring.  For this purpose, you should organize the tasks described below:

  • Monitoring the use of credit for the purposes indicated: checking payments for the use of goods acquired under the credit operation.
  • Verifying the existence of the pledge object (mortgage) (quantity, quality, security) at the location where it is located. Verification is mandatory in case of delay
  • The preparation and submission to the initiation of proposals area to change the conditions of the credit operation
  • Organização de trabalho para realizar os processos de cobrança antecipada da divida de credito.
  • The preparation  of the process  to carry out the advance debt collection

Handling problematic credit operations or credit risk.

Ensure that international legislation and the determinations of the National Bank of Angola are fully respected in all Bank operations and credit procedures;

 

Responsible for ensuring the implementation of best practices in the management of the Department, namely in the management and discipline of the Department's employees, in the management of relations with official entities, in the ethics of customer relations and in the management of the Department's projects..

 

Coordinate all work related to the Deposits area, namely:

  • Monitoring of deposit processes at the Bank, supervising current activities in close collaboration with different areas of the Bank that participate in this process;
  • Preparation and sending of reports to the National Bank of Angola, referring to the Guarantee Fund, credits and deposits and others in accordance with the instructions of the National Bank of Angola, Instruction nº2 / 2019 of the BNA
  • Check existing deposits and inform the National Bank of Angola according to the regulations, Instruction nº2 / 2019 of BNA
  • Control Deposits in accordance with the rules applied to institutions participating in the Deposit Guarantee Fund, as set out in Presidential Decree 195/18 of 22 August, among others, the duty to provide information, to set up and invest funds..

 

Prepare and send reports to the National Bank of Angola, according to the instructions of the National Bank of Angola, referring to the Department scope of action.

 

Ensure that international legislation and the instructions of the National Bank of Angola are fully respected in all Bank loans and deposits operations and procedures.

 

Responsible for ensuring the implementation of best practices in the management of the Department, namely in the management and discipline of the Department's employees, in the management of relations with official entities, in the ethics of customer relations and in the management of the Department's projects.

 

Coordinate and train the Department's employees, ensure discipline and compliance with Bank rules.
