Private Enterprise team as a
Senior Associate in
Partner Tax.



Put your tax knowledge to work in a distinctive role within a specialised and highly valued team, preparing tax returns for Grant Thornton's Partners and investment entities. With a focus on both tax compliance and tax planning, you'll tackle challenging work that draws on your business services experience.

This role can be based in any of our locations: Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney.




Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the firm's Partners in meeting their accounting and tax compliance requirements, including timely preparation of financial statements and income tax returns


• Assist with accounting, tax advisory, and tax planning matters


• Build strong relationships with Partners and other stakeholders whilst observing discretion and confidentiality


• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that may affect the firm's Partners

Skills and experience

• Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)


• CA / CPA qualified, studying, or planning to enrol


• Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting


• Interest in working with professionals and investment entities


• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a desire to go 'above and beyond' to delight your customers


• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment
