We are currently seeking a Level 1/2 IT Support Officer to join a leading independent school in Sydney.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on IT Support professional who enjoys working directly with users and providing a high level of customer service. You will be supporting students, teaching staff and administrative teams across a busy school environment.
The position is initially offered on a 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent role.
About the Role
You will provide Level 1/2 technical support across the school, troubleshooting hardware, software, user access and device-related issues.
A key focus of the role will be supporting the school's iPad rollout and device management, making previous experience with Jamf highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 1/2 IT support to students, teachers and administrative staff
* Deliver professional and friendly face-to-face technical support
* Troubleshoot hardware, software and user access issues
* Manage and resolve IT helpdesk tickets
* Support the rollout, configuration and deployment of iPads
* Manage Apple devices using Jamf
* Manage Windows devices through Microsoft Intune
* Perform password and MFA resets and general user administration
* Manage accounts and groups through Active Directory and Entra ID
* Reimage and configure Windows laptops for redeployment
* Assist with maintaining device compliance across the school
* Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for end users
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous Level 1/2 IT Support or Helpdesk experience
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Experience providing face-to-face IT support
* Experience supporting Apple devices / iPads
* Previous Jamf experience is highly desirable
* Experience with Microsoft Intune would be advantageous
* Knowledge of Active Directory and/or Entra ID
* A proactive and hands-on approach to IT support
* The ability to work 5 days per week on-site
