What's your mission?
Buy and Own a Home Value Stream has the mission to build solutions that transform the way our customers buy and own their home by creating a simple, transparent and world-class digital home ownership experience
You'll contribute to this by helping create, optimise and improve the processes and systems used by our coaches to fulfil a seamless and supported experience for our customers. Embedded in the Servicing Home Loans Product Squad, you'll working with engineers, analysts and support the product owner
What will your day look like?
Our Journey Experts are the heartbeat of our squads, we value and actively seek their advice on how best to arrange work for our engineers. You'll deal with levels of complexity that require a curious mind, a customer first and strategic approach
  • Partner with Product Owners, Engineers and others to validate requirements and priority and ensure alignment to value
  • Gather and analyse requirements from a variety of stakeholders and produce tech and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with business users to perform 'deep dive' analysis on processes and to understand our "how might we" statements
  • Engage with customer groups to uncover and understand both stated and unstated needs, ensuring that these are represented in the design of solutions
  • Ensuring customer solutions are elegant in their simplicity. This includes ensuring alignment with other squads on end-to-end customer journeys
What will be in your toolkit?
Journey Experts came from a variety of backgrounds bringing skills such as business analysis, change management, process mapping and product development.
  • Background and experience in Home Lending Operations and Servicing, and a good idea on how the process can be transformed to make it simple, automated and digital for both customers and coaches.
  • Super curious, you proactively look for work and love solving complex problems with technology solutions.
  • Documentation is your super power! We use tools such as, Confluence, Jira, GitHub
  • You've been through transformations or new product builds and you love the fast paced ambiguous culture
  • An intense passion for customers, and will champion the customers' needs at every part of the process
