The Marketing Associate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive collateral, campaigns and event strategies aligned to the overall marketing strategy for Janus Henderson Investors.

~~Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns that are aligned to the overall marketing strategy for Janus Henderson Investors, across all channels. Initiatives to include (but not limited to):
o regular client communications, whether by email, tele/videoconference, webcasts, videos or in-person meetings;
o annual events program inclusive of sponsorships and events;
o product related collateral, pitchbook and offer document development;
o monthly report commentary review;
o website content;
o public relations across broadsheet media and financial trades;
o brand building for Janus Henderson Investors
• Develop, maintain and execute the annual events program for all channels inclusive of sponsorship, event collateral, advertising, venue liaison, management of guest lists, presentations and follow-up
• Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager to develop and ensure that the overall marketing strategy is implemented cohesively
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement all digital marketing strategies, including website maintenance, e-marketing and ‘Knowledge.Shared’ platform (including videos)
• Monitor results to gauge campaign and event effectiveness, and regularly reviewing effectiveness and ways to increase penetration or success
• Maintain a level of understanding of new trends, technologies and techniques in the funds management industry
• Work closely with the Distribution and Product teams to ensure alignment, strong communication and working relationships
• Develop strong working relationships with other marketing teams within Janus Henderson Investors, seeking synergy and leverage as appropriate
• Brand management to ensure adherence to guidelines including review and approval of all marketing collateral.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ Marketing experience with a communications agency or asset management firm
• A Diploma or Degree in Marketing would be highly regarded but is not essential
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Understanding of major asset classes
• Understanding of the Australian financial services marketplace and its component parts, across all channels

• Has a flexible approach to work requirements when and if required, particularly related to office hours or day-to-day duties as required
• Ability to deal with business units across time zones and regions
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to set and work to priorities and deadlines

Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed by:
• Annual Performance Appraisal
• Completion of all assigned Compliance training
• Annual Attestation (Knowledge and Competence in-scope roles only)
