About the Role

Reporting to the Technology Delivery Manager, the Project Manager position is responsible for leading the full-cycle project initiation, scoping, planning, implementation and delivery of wide-ranging applications within their broader group-wide technology transformation program targeting the replacement of legacy systems. This critical appointment is in the spotlight of executive level stakeholders and provides an opportunity for the successful appointee to add an iconic project to their project management pedigree.

Duties
  • Develop productive stakeholder relationships to facilitate successful project outcomes on time and within cost and quality arrangements.
  • Mentor and coach accountable business analysts, IS project resources and SMEs.
  • Ensure adequate risk and issue management processes are deployed across the project.
  • Support detailed requirements analysis, facilitate design and implementation.
  • Balance business impacts of the transformation including implementation and migration considerations.
  • Manage and coordinate delivery with internal technical and multiple vendors.

Skills & Experience
  • Extensive (7+ years') experience managing and delivering large ($1-$5m+), multi-faceted programs at a senior level with a large change management component.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Formal project qualifications in AIPM and/or PMI are required. Other desirable but not essential qualifications include PRINCE2 and Six Sigma/Lean.
  • Experience with or exposure to Agile methodologies is an advantage.
  • Natural self-starter with action orientation and willingness to "roll up sleeves" as needed in support of a "lean" project approach.
