In these roles you will have the opportunity to positively influence industry best practice and the stability of the Australian financial system.

We have a number of opportunities to come and join APRA, which could see you:

  • Supervising superannuation institutions with particular focus on financial strength, governance and risk management
  • Analysing the financial safety implications of material changes to superannuation institutions' business operations, including mergers, acquisitions and divestments
  • Researching and developing strategies to manage emerging prudential risks
  • Protecting superannuation fund members through enforcement action where appropriate

If you see Superannuation as your next career path then APRA will be of interest to you! To be successful you will have 2-5 years' experience in a financial services discipline such as Banking, Insurance or Superannuation, with experience in risk management, consulting or auditing. You will have a curious and analytical mind, investigative and research skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
