The purpose of the Group Payments Tech Area is to transform Payments by fortifying existing platforms, simplifying and standardising processes and technology and by enabling our business through reusable end-to-end services.

As a senior member of our Analyst chapter, you will facilitate agile ceremonies, share ideas and knowledge and partner with your Chapter Lead to uplift the capability of the chapter.

As a squad member within the Tech area you will understand the payments environment to refine requirements to increase the quality and efficiency of the outcomes being delivered by the Squad as well ensuring the stability of systems.
To be successful in this role you will bring your extensive payments domain expertise, focusing on domestic and cross border payments. This position is for a Senior Analyst who is comfortable working with business and technology stakeholders from all levels.

What you bring to the Tech Area and Analyst Chapter:
First and foremost we’re looking for a strong Senior Systems Analyst who has been working within the Payments domain for some time.

We are looking for a team member who is innovative, practical and adaptable. From here you will bring:
  • Ability to identify MVP through planning, organising, modelling and prioritising requirements with stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan, estimate and manage analysis work for a team.
  • Partner with the Product Owner, Engineers and others in your Squad to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries and sequencing of user stories.
  • Ability to adopt a functional decomposition approach to analysis using an extensive range innovative elicitation methods and techniques.
  • Proficient across a broad range of elicitation techniques to defining requirements in complex business and technology environments to meet business outcomes.
