Systems Engineer to work in an infrastructure project environment. Your new company
A Technology consultancy based in WA and recognised as delivery experts in Tech Infrastructure projects are in need of a Systems Engineer with technical lead experience for a 6 month contract initially. The consultancy are well regarded in Perth and count some major brands as their clients locally. Your new role
The Systems Engineer will be required to be heavily involved in leading an infrastructure platform delivery project for a well known organisation. You will be working on client site in Perth and have the option to work remotely from home in a week by week rotation.
The project requires detailed understanding of Linux operating systems but you should ideally be versed with Linux and Windows OS. You will also need to:
What you'll need to succeed
- Implement PaaS, virtualisation and backup infra services
- Provide documentation - eg test and migration plans
- Plan and lead implementation of solutions
You must be an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer ideally with a good level of exposure to Linux environments. Work with VMWare projects for enterprise organisations is expected too. Other experience would be a great advantage
