Build and operate high-availability blockchain infrastructure, managing validators, nodes, security, monitoring, automation, and distributed systems while supporting emerging technologies across a fast-paced global environment.

What You'll Do:

1. Build, manage, and maintain sophisticated proof-of-stake validator infrastructure.
2. Operate critical on-chain infrastructure including validators, light clients, and RPC nodes.
3. Improve monitoring and alerting to enable rapid infrastructure issue resolution.
4. Work with distributed systems, consensus algorithms, cryptography, and emerging blockchain technologies.
5. Strengthen infrastructure security through key management, server hardening, intrusion detection, and security best practices.
6. Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams to maintain high availability.
7. Contribute to external partnerships and blockchain community knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, deploying, and maintaining complex blockchain infrastructure across cloud and bare-metal environments.
2. Managing proof-of-stake infrastructure and supporting blockchain networks such as Solana or Ethereum.
3. Developing and maintaining automation using Terraform, Ansible, Salt, and Bash.
4. Operating Kubernetes-based infrastructure and Linux systems.
5. Monitoring infrastructure using Prometheus, Alertmanager, and related observability technologies.
6. Troubleshooting networking, distributed systems, and production infrastructure challenges.
7. Evaluating emerging blockchain technologies and incorporating valuable developments into infrastructure strategies.
8. Applying strong security practices to infrastructure, cryptographic keys, and production systems.
9. Supporting high-availability operations across a globally distributed environment.
10. Engaging with external partners and technical communities to share knowledge and explore opportunities.

About You:

1. Passionate about blockchain technology with a strong desire to continuously learn.
2. Previous experience operating proof-of-stake blockchain infrastructure, ideally with Solana or Ethereum.
3. Deep understanding of Linux, Kubernetes, networking, monitoring, and distributed systems.
4. Strong experience with Prometheus and Alertmanager or comparable monitoring platforms.
5. Experienced across cloud and bare-metal infrastructure environments.
6. Proficient with Terraform, Ansible, Salt, or similar infrastructure automation tools.
7. Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining complex production systems.
8. Highly proficient with Bash and experienced with Python, Golang, Rust, or another programming language.
9. Strong understanding of infrastructure security, key management, hardening, and intrusion detection.
10. Familiarity with on-chain trading, DeFi, and risk management is advantageous.
11. Comfortable working quickly, independently, and across competing priorities.
12. Reliable, adaptable, and effective within a globally distributed team.
