The Campaign Support Analyst role is part of our Cards and Loans team in the Consumer Bank.  This position involves resolving technical queries; assisting in the development of solutions to business problems with Users; gathering and documenting User requirements, mapping process flows, working with local and/or global development teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of sophisticated applications and conducting / coordinating local User Acceptance Testing.The successful candidate must possess good communication, analytical, process mapping and documentation skills. 
In this role some of your accountabilities will include:
  • Provide support and advice as required to resolve production issues
  • Monitor and promote effective use of available IT facilities
  • Preparing course materials and conducting training sessions
  • Assist with development and implementation of changes to improve overall efficiency and functionality
  • Assess the impact of changes on existing business and technology processes, as well as other interfacing systems
  • Document detailed user requirements and map process changes
  • Analyze production systems / application defects and issues
  • Analyze and estimate incoming work requests / orders from the business
  • Liaise with business & local / regional technology, including working closely with developers on the construction and implementation of new systems
  • Develop Business Requirements and detailed functional specifications
  • Document User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans and scripts
  • Coordinate and conduct UAT with the business


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance or IT
  • 4 years or more of BA experience in the consumer banking and finance industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a relevant business
  • Experience in consumer banking and finance systems and processes.
  • Experience in (or knowledge of) the relevant consumer banking and finance application
  • Good working knowledge of SDLC, systems design and database concepts
  • Some knowledge of the principles of operations research and basic business for usage analysis and process optimisation
  • Consultancy skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Analyse and evaluate various solutions and recommend solution that best meets business constraints
  • Systems Integration. Capable of breaking complex problems into parts and identifying the impact of changes on other businesses and systems.
  • Process Engineering. Ability to map and re-engineer business and technology processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Capable of representing solutions in language understandable by business users and technical staff
  • Able to understand technical and application documentation and interpret for business users
  • Experience in gathering and documenting Business Requirements.
  • Experience in documenting, coordinating and conducting User Acceptance Testing
  • Ability to identify and differentiate between risks and issues and work out mitigation strategies
  • Engage in tactical planning and contribute to strategic planning
  • Understanding of the consumer banking and finance business and related processes
  • Knowledge of local & global competitors and their products/processes
  • Knowledge of existing legislation and upcoming changes impacting business area supported is essential
  • Membership of ASFA / ACS associations will be well regarded
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
