Executive Manager, Planning & Engagement

The Role

As the Executive Manager, Planning & Engagement, you will support the Group Executive, Technology on the two to three-year planning horizon for Group Technology, provide counsel on issues and build content for the engagement of the Group Technology Extended Leadership Team (ELT), internal and external stakeholders and partners

Successful Candidate for this role will be customer focussed, results driven and able to work collaboratively with our people, customers and partners. You will cultivate innovation and will demonstrate and encourage life-long learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Group Technology business planning activities
  • Work with other divisional peers, for example. EM, Office of the Australia CEO, to
  • ensure Group Technology priorities are aligned and opportunities for value are
  • maximised
  • Lead or participate in projects as determined and directed by the Group Executive,
  • Technology
  • Provide counsel, undertake research and analysis on strategic issues important to
  • the Group Executive, Technology
  • Plan and co-ordinate Group Technology strategic rhythm for engagement of the
  • ELT. For example, quarterly leadership meetings and offsites

Skills & Experience

  • Senior Technical Leadership experience within large complex organisations
  • Experienced in strategic planning and establishing
  • Ability influence with senior stakeholder groups (both internal & external)
  • Prior experience within large scale enterprise wide transformation programs of work
  • Background in Consulting or Insurance would be highly regarded
