Our client is a global leading provider of digital insurance technology solutions, we are looking for a Sales Director based in Sydney to hunt and generate new business for company cloud-based solutions in the financial services industry (like insurance, brokers/agencies, banks), manage Tier 1-4 accounts directly and via partners in Australia & New Zealand market. The incumbent must be able to achieve revenue targets, prospect, manage the full sales cycle, build relationships, and close sales. The position also provides internal advice to support the overall growth strategy for driving company InsureMo cloud business activities in the region.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and personally undertake Sales activities from initial contact until sale closure. This will include contacting prospects face-to-face as well as via telephone and electronically
  • Proactive development of new business in the region and build and maintain relationships with key prospects, decision-makers, alliance partners and industry experts
  • Prepare detailed quotations and proposals that fully meet client expectations, as well as minimize risk. Follow company procedures for quotation review and accept responsibility for the scope, accuracy, and winning of these proposals
  • Achieve target sales, quotas on a consistent basis
  • Maintain a solid knowledge of company underlying technology, the range of existing products and consulting services
  • Represent firm at trade shows, conferences, industry meetings and take a leadership role in developing and executing a sales strategy for the assigned region

 

Requirements for the role:

  • 5 years of strong sales & account management experience in Australia & New Zealand region
  • Min 3 years cloud middle office, PaaS and/or SaaS sales experience (mush have)
  • Strong relationship within Insurance and Insurers (big + small) market - preferred
  • Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers
  • Successful track record in selling complex technology solutions
  • Thorough understanding of the cloud  product sales cycle and show a methodical approach to moving opportunities through this cycle
  • Ability to analyze market trends and business data to identify new market potential
