Senior ETL Data Analyst
Position Summary: - ETL Data Analyst proficient in analyzing, interrogating and modelling complex data at an enterprise scale.
- As an ETL Analyst, the candidate should have a good understanding of Data warehousing and have hands-on on Oracle, Teradata and Mainframe expertise.
- Hands-on SQL knowledge and should be able to write complex queries.
- Experience in working with Bigdata platforms and with various utilities like Hive, spark, pig, scala, impala, kafka
- Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting data requirements, data migration business rules and development of complex data maps.
Mandatory Skills: - The candidate should have expertise in various ETL tools and experience in data analysis of critical business data coming from different source systems.
- He/She should also be able to remediate any data related issues in large and complex datawarehouse applications and provide necessary insight for key business decisions.
- Candidate should have expertise on SQL server and Oracle databases and Power BI based applications
- Knowledge of source control such as Git, Bitbucket
- Knowledge of Unix system and IBM QuerySurge testing tool.
- Strong understanding of various custom and industry standard data warehouse applications used large enterprise environments.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present to all stakeholders (translate technical requirements into non-technical and vice versa).
Duties and Responsibilities: - The candidate should have experience in release management and deployment activities, incident management, capacity management for datawarehouse applications.
- The requirement is for a client facing position that requires the candidate to be able to work independently at client site and work within stringent timelines ensuring organizational standard of efficiency and quality.
- Candidate will have strong documentation skills and translate technical documentation.
- An understanding and working experience in reporting & data visualization techniques and tools such as Business Objects, PowerBI.
- He/She should have Excellent analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data.
- He/she should have Presentation skills - ability to write and easily communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand.
- Perform statistical and forensic analysis.
- Should be both an individual contributor and a team player.
- He has experience in working on Agile and Waterfall project models
Salary Range: AUD >80,000
