Our ITS team is a specialised function comprised of a number service experts who manage our IT platforms. We have an opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer for join our team in Sydney

Your new role
  • Configuration and support of national Data Systems
  • Escalation and liaison with suppliers and service providers to resolve critical outages
  • Ensure relevant documentation is created and published to enable the support and maintenance of all data networking systems nationally
  • Establishment of support tools, instructions, supporting documentation to maintain data communication services
  • Design and architecture of national data network solutions required for business solutions
  • Provide valuable input affecting the outcome of business and infrastructure projects and relating data network services
  • Provide budgetary estimations to projects for data network equipment and maintenance
  • Oversee tasks performed by junior staff relating to support issues or project work
  • Ensure the production of design and architecture technical documentation, design considerations and cost analysis
You bring to the role
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of data technologies and solutions
  • Comprehensive experience in dealing with telecommunication service providers, specifically relating to a managed WAN service
  • High level network design and architecture experience
  • Effective time management
  • Solid understanding of Proxy PAC files
  • Solid understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (SSL certificates etc)
  • Experience with SNMP based monitoring and NetFlow
  • Degree in business systems / technology or similar
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) highly desirable
