Your new role
• Perform Static Test reviews of the Business Requirements/ User Stories documents and develop test conditions and build automated test cases for phase level testing using appropriate tools and technique
• Execute test effort and ensure test results are recorded in appropriate system and defects are identified and managed
• Create comprehensive test data combinations to ensure the correct test coverage.
• Supports and mentors other Test engineers to ensure career progression
• Strong contributor to Innovation tasks such as overall automation framework designs
• Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team to promote the use of industry best patterns and practices
• API, UI and stubbing solutions to ensure effective automation scenarios are built and maintained
• Create Test Plan and schedule test phases to ensure that consensus is reached regarding all test effort required for delivery
• Develop a continuous improvement mindset in team and project interactions
• Apply a risk management approach to achieve consistency and compliance to CBA testing standards
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that test outcomes are achieved in the most efficient way
• Provide accurate and timely status reporting to ensure that test progress and issues are understood by all relevant Stakeholders
• Create Test Recommendation report to outline the status of all completed work to highlight and accept outstanding issues prior to next testing phase or production.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven ability to analyse complex technical requirements, review architecture documents and solution design, and determine appropriate test automation approach and best engineering practices based on technical design
• Advanced test process knowledge and hands-on experience in test planning and execution
• Proven skills & experience in Test automation using Selenium, Appium, JAVA/JavaScript, Cucumber BDD, TestNG and source control tools like GitHub
• Proven experience in setting up and/or applying test automation frameworks for native mobile applications/web application and APIs using Appium / Selenium
• Proven experience in service virtualisation in a complex environment, Web services /API testing using tools such as POSTMAN
• Demonstrable experience in setting up selenium grid / cloud mobile devices
• Proven experience using CI toolset such as TeamCity, Jenkins
• Experience in native mobile application accessibility testing
• Proven experience in web debugging proxy tools like mitmproxy, Charles proxy
• Proven working experience and an advocate for Agile methodology, and Agile delivery toolset such as JIRA
