Your role & work environment
As a rule writer in fraud detection, you will contribute to ING becoming the safest bank and a leading player in the area of fraud and cybersecurity. In our data lakes, you analyze how we can better detect fraud in online channels, cards, etc... and you create the countermeasures in our tooling so that other tribes can provide a safe and customer friendly service. You are in close contact with Customer Loyalty teams in order to understand how to continuously make our detection more effective. You are at the forefront of big data developments and you help our teams in adopting new technologies.
Your key responsibilities
• Working closely together with colleagues with different expertise in self-steering teams with the aim to create even more added value for our internal and external customers.
• Analyze data on normal and abnormal behaviour in online banking and payments, develop detection strategies for fraud and translate them in effective countermeasures.
• Work closely together with fraud operations in order to continuously improve existing processes and procedures.

• Master degree in physics, data science, computer science or equal through experience.
