The Deloitte Belgium Crisis and Resilience team consists of 10+ Crisis & Resilience professionals and is a key member of both the Deloitte European Crisis Network and the Deloitte Global Crisis Management community. Our methodology is based on the ISO 22301 standard and offers a unique combination of business and technological aspects, using a risk-based, modular and long-term sustainable approach. We help our clients to establish a strong technology resiliency framework and identify issues before they cause disruption to the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

As an IT Resilience Professional, you will:

  • Assist clients in raising their IT resilience and the importance of well-tested disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity;
  • Identifying vulnerabilities, single points of failure and help companies in developing mitigation strategies for key risks;
  • Define recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives for the different systems in scope;
  • Draft disaster recovery plans (DRP) together with our clients;
  • Review and assess existing disaster recovery plans and identify opportunities for improvement (from a technology point of view, governance point of view, business-IT alignment, etc.);
  • Design and develop disaster recovery test strategies for our clients and facilitate disaster recovery tests;
  • Identifying vulnerabilities, single points of failure and help companies in developing mitigation strategies for key risks;
  • Follow-up on evolutions in the field of disaster recovery & technology resilience and develop and share your knowledge;
  • Support business development in the field of disaster recovery & technology resilience.
Your Profile
  • You have 4 to 6 years of Disaster Recovery or IT resilience experience in assessing resilient architectures across a diverse set of technologies in a client facing or large-scale organization;
  • You have extensive experience of assessing, designing and implementing IT service management (ITIL) frameworks, processes supported by knowledge of various service management and monitoring tools;
  • You are familiar with networks and enterprise technologies, including servers, backups, virtualization, SAN, firewalls, VPN, load balancers, cloud. etc.
  • In addition to the classic BCM, terms such as Cyber & Cloud Security, IT Security are no foreign words for you;
  • You master project management and people management;
  • You have good knowledge of Disaster Recovery principles including familiarity with ISO22301 or ISO27031 is a plus;
  • You are a strong communicator with fluent language skills in English, Dutch and/or French;
  • You have the desire to develop a strategic vision for sustainable term growth and development of the team and firm.
