Role purpose


Designs brand enhancing, world class digital learning solutions aligned to DU EMEA’s standards of excellence, digital strategy and design methodology, and consults in various areas of digital learning.


Key responsibilities


Learning needs analysis

  • Partners with the programme and design teams to identify gaps and opportunities for continuous learning solutions and digital elements


Design and development

  • Design and develops world-class and user centric digital learning solutions (e.g. video, podcast, websites, blogs, surveys, collaboration tools and email marketing tools) aligned to DU EMEA’s standards of excellence and digital strategy
  • Uses Design Thinking principles in the design of solutions, using appropriate templates, terminology, style, visuals, materials and methodology
  • Makes use of a variety of design tools (Brainshark, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Audacity)
  • Partners with internal and external suppliers to develop creative digital learning solutions
  • Supports / manages the development process of digital learning solutions
  • Contributes to the design and development of cross journey digital elements
  • Crafts engaging content for digital solutions to bring the content alive for the audience
  • Provides recommendations based on continuous learning concepts and the integration of digital learning solutions


Delivery

  • Understands the delivery requirements and works closely with project team to ensure design and delivery plans are aligned
  • Provides on-site support for digital elements
  • Leverages the capabilities of the Deloitte Learning Management System for the delivery of continuous learning solutions (where applicable)


Management information and reporting

  • Builds, tracks and reports against a project plan for design
  • Proactively manages risk by escalating design and development issues and other risks as appropriate


Measurement and impact

  • Measure the success of behavioural change programmes through the use of analytics and robust benefits management, whilst also sharing areas for improvement on learning solutions in a timely manner


Knowledge sharing and eminence

  • Acts as a subject matter expert in the area of digital design
  • Remains up-to-date with the latest digital learning technologies and current trends within Deloitte and externally
  • Actively contributes to the DU EMEA community to share experience, knowledge and lessons learnt
  • Contributes to the continued improvement of design methodology, tools and templates
  • Share knowledge of behaviour change techniques, including approaches to testing, selection, and analysis of results
