HZ Transition Manager
Purpose of Role:
Transition Management is a dedicated internal governance function across three hubs (China/India/Poland); and HZ Transition Management is to govern and oversee New Outsourcing, Migration and New Business Growth transitions into SSTZ China Hub, with an end-to-end and robust approach, to ensure the full compliance of GTRA, Global Transition Tollgate Completion, MSA/SLA creation/review as well as the other internal requirements are in place during each transition cycle.

The role will be responsible to implement all transitions into China Hub with published transition governance, interacting with GTRA group and transition managements of other two hubs to jointly support new change requirement, provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement as well as to be able to manage internal stakeholders' expectation to support business.

The role will need to lead the existing HZ Transition Management Team to design and execute up to date Transition Framework and to proactively support Hangzhou Senior Management team for continuous transition risk mitigation, Entity level transition reporting across all business lines in Hangzhou.

Specific Duties:

  • Own the overall internal transition governance execution, policy publish, model optimization
  • Act as the escalation point for all HZ internal/external functions or teams in transition governance
  • Be the liaison between all HZ internal groups as well as HZ external service recipients
  • Have good organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments within or ahead of deadlines; ability to deliver accurate and speedy results
  • To proactively take ownership to identify and resolve queries and communicate the resolution o appropriate parties
  • To monitor and review transition project data to provide transition dashboard in a timely manner
  • Orchestrate issue resolution; handle directly where possible and loop in functional experts when needed
  • Be accountable for review/oversight of transition governance work completed by team
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff
  • Act as Interface of Transition Related Issues (global collaboration, improvement, brainstorming, etc.) on behalf of China Hub to work with Global Governance team, other GIC Hubs, etc.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Specific Qualifications/Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 to 6 years' experience in financial service industry
  • Initiative, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Project management experience in a matrix environment
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to respond to shifting priorities
  • Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Proven tracking record of team management

Level of Education:
BS or BA in business, accounting, information, technology or equivalent or relevant field of study
