Operating in an advanced technological environment, you will be using cutting edge statistical tools to take ownership and develop a new pricing system supporting their new Global Digital Ecosystem. You will be given a large degree of autonomy and collaborate with several internal departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support to the projects to implement the Earnix pricing platform in Andes market, contributing to implementation planning and execution, ensuring best-practices are developed and applied, building and/or implementing models and pricing calculations, ensuring benefits are realized, and that delivery is on-time.
  • When necessary, support other pricing and predictive modeling projects, reporting to the East & West Product Design Special Projects Manager.
  • Support the Andes Global Digital Ecosystem Product Manager in designing and delivering a Pricing product vision and executing the strategy and vision for the Pricing product line to the team, while representing the voice of the customer.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders including Business, Technology, and Product Owners from other customer journey segments to define and prioritize features and stories while executing the product vision.
  • As required, support global advanced modeling and pricing projects, primarily in high-volume lines of business such as Auto and Home, using predictive modeling, statistical techniques, and pricing expertise.
  • Willing to undertake some travel as required when it is safe to do so (estimated 20% travel).

Competences:

  • Background in Statistical Learning. Ideally will have a familiarity with statistical modeling software such as R, Python with the ability to build predictive models of moderate complexity
  • Experience with programming and data manipulation
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality work often within tight timeframes
  • Experience with Agile practices and expectations and technical proficiency to participate in sprint planning and have an informed, independent voice.
  • Self-motivated and takes responsibility and ownership not only for individual work but also for the work of others and the outcome of projects and initiatives
  • Aptitude for effective, innovative problem solving within and across functional groups
  • Capable of being empowered, and possess the courage, to make decisions on key aspects of the design
  • Collaborative work ethic enabling and supporting Global Product Manager and influencing others to share a common vision
  • Experience of working in complex cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams to jointly deliver transformational outcomes
  • Deep domain expertise with good appreciation of the various functions that comprise the customer lifecycle
  • Natural interest in understanding of trends and emerging technologies
  • Aligns the necessary stakeholders to keep the momentum of progress
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrable ability to deal confidently and assertively with all levels of management

Education Required

  • Proven math and analytical skills, as normally acquired a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or related field, or pursuit of an Actuarial or Data Science career
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Spanish and English capabilities required.
