We are retained by a multi-billion dollar AUM asset manager in Dubai to appoint a Senior Product Manager with genuine hands-on product development and structuring experience across both traditional and private market asset classes.

This is a product role in the asset management sense: designing, structuring and bringing investment products to market. It is not a technology product role.

The firm is growing, backed by a leadership team with decades of experience across product development and structuring, distribution and strategy. The environment is flat and fast moving, and the product team's creative approach to solving client problems has been central to the firm's success to date.

The Role

You will work directly with senior leadership on the full product life cycle, from initial concept and structuring through to launch and ongoing management. You will also manage and develop junior members of the product and marketing team.

The primary focus is product development and structuring, supported by execution strategy and project management. There is a marketing element to the role, but it is secondary to the structuring mandate.

Responsibilities include:

- Leading the design, structuring and launch of new investment products across global equities, global fixed income, emerging markets, GCC markets and private markets (private equity, venture capital, real estate and private credit)

- Establishing investment vehicles across multiple fund jurisdictions and managing them through their life cycle

- Owning execution strategy and project management across the product pipeline

- Managing legal, counterparty, compliance and regulatory workstreams associated with product launches

- Supporting distribution and marketing on product positioning and go to market

- Managing, mentoring and developing two junior product and marketing professionals

Key relationships:

- *Internal:* Head of Product, Head of Sales & Marketing, and the wider senior leadership team

- *External:* clients, counterparties, regulators, legal counsel and service providers

Essential Experience

- Demonstrable, hands-on experience structuring investment products. Candidates whose experience is limited to working with finished or inherited products will not be considered.

- Sufficient seniority to have exercised real autonomy over product structuring and development decisions

- Breadth across multiple asset classes within asset management

Ideal Experience

- Asset management experience gained in a market recognised for best practice and a leading edge product offering

- Exposure to private markets funds and assets alongside traditional asset classes

- Experience across regulated fund domiciles, with Ireland and Luxembourg particularly relevant

- Wider jurisdictional exposure across Cayman, BVI, Luxembourg, KSA, DIFC, Malaysia and onshore UAE. The broader the better.

- Track record of setting up investment vehicles and managing them post-launch

- Working knowledge of the legal, counterparty and compliance requirements around fund and product launches

- Distribution exposure

- Background in a flat, fast moving organisation, or one that takes a creative and innovative approach to product design
