The Finance Manager is responsible for one or several legal entities/departments. Key tasks are general and will vary according to which entity/department the employee is responsible for.
Continuous
-Incoming invoices (external and intercompany)
-Outgoing invoices (external and intercompany)
-Payments
-Reminders
-Eye share or approval system user support
-Work closely with External Accountant
-Manage a team of 3
Monthly
-VAT Reporting
-Control and post cost and revenue accruals
-Fixed assets - additions, disposals, depreciations
-Exchange rate revaluations
-Balance accounts - reconciliations and specifications
-Intercompany reconciliations
-Reviews monthly and quarterly financial statements
-Payroll support
Reporting
-Any local reporting - monthly/quarterly/yearly
-Other requested public reporting
-Monthly budget monitoring reports per department to managers
-Monthly reporting of actuals vs budget for legal entities / departments / projects
-Monthly updating of forecast for legal entities / departments / projects
-Liquidity forecast for legal entities
Budgeting
-Preparing department budgets together with P&L responsible managers
-Preparing project budgets together with P&L responsible managers
-Preparing legal entity budgets together with P&L responsible managers
-Analyse and explain variances between actual performance and budget or forecast
-Prepares and monitors budget
Yearly
-Documentation and specifications according to auditor's requirements
We are looking for someone with:
-Bachelors OR Master's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or similar Education
-Minimum 5 years relevant working experience
-Ability to use Netsuite or other form of ERP software is a must
-Ability to provide independent advice (orally and in writing) to Board of Directors on financial matters
-Effective Communicator with excellent leadership skills, management experience and ability to motivate employees
-Commitment to the Company's mission and vision statement
-Fluent in French and English written and spoken.
