Leading Pan-European Private Equity & Infrastructure with €14 billion of Assets Under Management, Access Capital Partners is seeking an Analyst to strengthen its ESG & Sustainability team. The ESG & Sustainability team’s responsibility is to coordinate, drive and optimize ESG operational processes across private equity, private debt and infrastructure investing activities.
The role:
- Contribute to the ESG due diligence process during pre-investment across all segments of activity both for direct investments and fund selection
- Assist in the annual ESG data collection campaign from portfolio funds and companies, liaising with the external digital data management specialist and various providers of carbon footprint data
- Prepare annual global ESG reports to clients, based on collected ESG data and various research of qualitative information (climate-related and social & wellbeing actions)
- Monitor and follow up with the International, European, and French regulations (Taxonomy, SFDR, Loi Energie-Climat etc.) to ensure the regulation’s requirements are met
- Assist in the preparation of annual ESG review meetings with highly sensitive institutional clients
- Influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the firm (Investment, Compliance and Middle Office teams)
- Participate to French and European industry working groups dedicated to ESG/Climate/ Sustainable Finance
Key skills:
- Recently graduated from a university or Grande Ecole (Sustainable development Master’s preferred) with a first experience in a similar field
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the growing ESG, Sustainability & impact trends within the financial industry
- Comfortable with data analysis and management (mostly via Excel)
- Strong written communication skills both in English and French (interview in both languages)
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to details
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- Good knowledge of the Office suite
