Our client is a global asset manager who is looking for an experienced sales professional to join and lead the sales team in France. This firm is a large asset manager with capability across public and private market funds, across asset classes. The client-base is across wholesale and institutional.
Responsibilities:
Work as the Head of Distribution to strategise, manage and build a successful sales team based in France
Build new networks and use existing relationships across the region, raising assets and ensuring long term growth
Manage the entire sales process from qualifying to closing and embedding the right qualities of long term relationships in the team
Assist in driving the brand recognition and business development efforts
Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the firm's products and strategies to effectively and confidently represent the business and lead discussions with clients
Research and identify new client / relationship development opportunities
Skills Required:
Knowledge of the French wholesale, and institutional market
Deep knowledge of various products across the traditional and alternative space
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent communication skills
