Head of Sales - France - Global Asset Manager

Our client is a global asset manager who is looking for an experienced sales professional to join and lead the sales team in France. This firm is a large asset manager with capability across public and private market funds, across asset classes. The client-base is across wholesale and institutional.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as the Head of Distribution to strategise, manage and build a successful sales team based in France
  • Build new networks and use existing relationships across the region, raising assets and ensuring long term growth
  • Manage the entire sales process from qualifying to closing and embedding the right qualities of long term relationships in the team   
  • Assist in driving the brand recognition and business development efforts
  • Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the firm's products and strategies to effectively and confidently represent the business and lead discussions with clients
  • Research and identify new client / relationship development opportunities

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of the French wholesale, and institutional market
  • Deep knowledge of various products across the traditional and alternative space 
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication skills
