Position:

For our Quality first approach, we are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong hands on and QA experience who will be in charge of driving the necessary processes, procedures and tools  to guarantee the Quality of eFront Insight. Product:

eFront Insight is the fastest-growing product at eFront. Dedicated to Alternative investment analytics it evaluates the performance and risk of Limited partner's investments and enhances their decision-making processes. Based on in-memory reporting, it groups information from internal and external sources then incorporates data in one place to give the investor a quick and up to date holistic view of his portfolio.

Technologies and Concepts involved:

Fully integrated to our Engineering Team in Paris, you will be exposed to both technical and functional layers of our product, while acquiring a unique skillset on the fast-growing Private

Equity industry, and Alternative Investments in general by focusing on:

  • Implement, maintain and execute automated and manual test for functional features validation
  • Participate in grooming, sprint planning process to review user stories, enrich acceptance criteria, create test plan and test cases
  • Assist with integration of automation tools for Rest API testing in our CICD pipeline
  • Collaborate with Product Owner, Developers and other members of QA team to design test plans and test cases
  • Ensure defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved
  • Perform functional, usability, performance, exploratory, multiusers test for the various components of our Application
  • Build status reports and metrics related to the testing activities

Required Skills and Experience:

University Bachelor or master’s degree (School of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics or Economy)
Experience in software testing both manual and automated.
Experience with API Testing tools using Postman, Jmeter, SoapUI or similar tools
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Good understanding of product development lifecycle and QA processes
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, JavaScript …
Experience with automation such as Selenium, SOAPUI, Ranorex, Jmeter and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, TFS / Azure DevOps
SQL (SQL server, Oracle) and NOSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

What your daily job will focus on

  • Attend agile meetings with the Team (grooming, refinement, daily stand-up, sprint review, demo…)
  • Manage testing lifecycle
  • Requirements, User Story and Bugs review including estimates
  • Participate in building Test strategy
  • Create Acceptance Criteria, Test Plan, Test Case and bugs
  • Implement automated test
  • Participate in customer bug analysis
  • Ensure timely delivery of fixes for reported issue in accordance with the delivery manager
  • Ensure post-mortem analysis following major releases
