Job Description A Senior Analytics Consultant is a member of Workday’s Professional Services organization focused on the implementation of our Human Resources and Financial Management cloud-based software. The Senior Analytics Consultant works closely with the client’s project team to design, develop, and deploy a customer’s various reporting and analytic requirements. This role must have knowledge of core design principles, common data modelling and reporting patterns, customer facing experience, and a successful track record of delivering.
  • Design, Develop and Deploy analytic and reporting solutions for Workday customers
  • Ability to help clients resolve analytic and reporting issues associated with the Workday application
  • Significant analytic or reporting experience in Human Resources, Financial Management, or Payroll related domains
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Deliver on assigned schedules to ensure project timelines are met
  • Contribute to the customers’ experience in a way that results in high customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams
  • Team player who will work across the organization and company to continue improving the way we serve our customers
  • Capability to mentor and share best practices with team members

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years Data Modeling Experience
  • 7+ years working with BI Tools  (Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, Business Objects)
  • 7+ years reporting on Human Resource, Payroll or Financial software applications
  • Knowledge of SQL approaches to data manipulation
  • General understanding of APIs
  • General understanding of Workday Security/Data Governance
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Exceptional research skills and resourcefulness
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner, motivated to understand various technologies used at Workday
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organization skills
  • Able work in a fast-paced, fast-growth, high-energy environment and deal with multiple high priority activities concurrently
  • Team player who can collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders; i.e. developers, technical operations, and customers
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
  • Fluency in French and English is essential
