Description

  • Citi's Capital Markets Origination ("CMO") focuses on the origination of debt, equity, equity-linked and securitization/asset-backed products. Through CMO, Citi executes Loans and Leveraged Financings, High Grade/High Yield debt instruments, Equity offerings and Asset/Mortgage backed securities. Typical responsibilities of CMO includes managing overall fixed income and equity relationships as well as dialogue with corporate clients; originating, marketing, structuring and executing fixed income and equity transactions
Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with CMO Group Heads on all issues including budgets, pipeline, deal, economics etc.
  • Serving as day to day touch point and liaison for business with various HUB based business partners including Operations, Technology, Compliance, HR, Risk, Legal, Finance, Volcker Rule Office (VRO), Business Control and Supervision (BSC), Banking and Markets
  • Managing regional MCA submission and support compliance and control initiatives across CMO
  • Leading syndicate deal close out and balance sheet management process
  • Compiling quarterly CMO business review and other ad-hoc presentations
  • Process improvement: continuous analysis of current procedures and process flows to ensure best practice is exercised in all areas including, reporting metrics, risk and control monitoring


Qualifications

Requirements:
  • 4+ year experience in finance services industry in a similar or related role
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or business related fields
  • Ability to foster and build relationships across multiple departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, and challenging environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills (written/verbal)
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple requests from different people
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
