Our client, a prestigious global multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking an an Investment Analyst Coach to join the team

About the job:

• Act as a dedicated mentor to a growing group of analysts across Asia, focusing on idea generation, research methodology, and refining investment models.
• Lead individual coaching sessions to support analyst growth and performance.
• Partner with the Asia training program lead and senior management to enhance onboarding, rotational training, and post-placement development.
• Participate in the analyst recruitment process, offering insights during interviews and selection.
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of evaluation tools, performance benchmarks, and feedback systems.
• Serve as a liaison between analysts, portfolio managers, and leadership to ensure alignment between talent development and investment goals.

Requirements:

• Strong investment background—preferably a former or current Portfolio Manager, or a senior analyst/head of research with leadership experience in market neutral strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring or managing junior team members.
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and communication abilities to support a diverse analyst group.
• Self-driven and collaborative, comfortable in a structured, non-risk-taking role.
• Ideal for professionals seeking a transition from high-pressure investing roles to a strategic, impactful position with regular hours and close engagement with investment teams.
