An international asset management firm is looking for an outstanding candidate to join as Asian Equities Execution Trader / Dealer. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international asset management firm with an international presence. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking an outstanding candidate to join them.

Execute orders on behalf of Fund Managers, ensuring efficiency and optimizing investment decisions. Provide Fund Managers with market commentary and information regarding liquidity, sentiment and volatility. Execution of trades in Asia Pacific markets on behalf of Investment Managers. Cash management, as necessary. Transaction Cost Analysis on trading activity. Support Fund Managers with portfolio construction and risk management via the provision of market commentary and information. Ongoing liaison with brokers and counterparties to both manage order and to gain market information.     Remain informed of changes in market structure and regulatory developments that may affect trading strategies. Ad hoc projects as determined by the business.

To qualify for the position, you should be a Degree holder with around a minimum of 3 to 8 years of relevant experiences. Detailed knowledge of Bloomberg and other market data platforms, including execution platforms. Ideally with knowledge of Bloomberg AIM or but certainly previous experience working with other trade booking systems. Able to build key relationships with Fund Managers. Able to build external relationships with brokers and counterparties.  Attention to detail. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
