Who is my client?

Our client is an award winning Global Top Tier investment bank with over 100 years of history. In Asia alone, it has over 20 offices across 12 markets. Its current strategy is to further extend  and connect its services to Asia, to further cement it as being the region's leading financial services company.

What are they looking for?

Currently they are looking for a Senior Application Support Manager (VP or SVP level) to be based in Hong Kong or Singapore, to lead its Global Payment support team in Asia and ensuring the stability of production applications in a constant changing environment. 

What are the mandatory requirements?

  • At least 10 years of hands on experience in providing application support within the financial industry.
  • Proven leadership experience, ability to motivate teams and drive execution.
  • Experience in working with technical counterparts from different time zones
  • Strong background in UNIX, Linux, Wintel, perl/Shell scripting, including ability to write SQL to extract, Oracle DB and JAVA.

What about the nice-to-haves?

  • Experience in working with Central Bank/Clearing house technical team
  • Six Sigma/ LEAN/Agile/ Project Management methodology experience
