Application Support Middle Office
Position: System Analyst - Middle Office System Job summary: Provide production support and business analyst for cope with business and technology change
Job Duties: - Daily trading support for Equities and Derivatives business department for global markets, who is response for:
- Assist in business Change Management activities, gather intelligence from Business Units and operations about needs and future growth
- Partner with application development and system support to ensure project delivery
- Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure completion in a timely fashion
- Evaluate, test and recommendation for enhancing existing workflow/ cope with new business requirement
- Provide leadership assistant in planning, project prioritization and execution of plans
Job Specification - Degree holder in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Ability to effectively influence and lead multiple levels of an organization through functional boundaries
- Solid knowledge of relevant technology concepts and solid working knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts (prior working experience in financial institution is preferable)
- Strong communication skills, including prioritizing, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building
- Proven time management cum organization skills (must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines)
- Solid Experience in Java, Oracle SQL, Python
- Good analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills and ability to deal with multi-cultural users and vendors.
- Understanding of the middle office process, such as trade booking, block allocation and trade matching, MTM is a plus
- Strong interested in problem-solving and solution deliveries mindset.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
Special requirement - Will need to work overtime or non-office hours when required
Years of relevant working experience - 5 years work experience or above
