We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Asset Liability Capital Management Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and support to Hong Kong Asset Liability Committee on the management of liquidity, funding risk and interest rate risk in the banking book.
  • Active engagement in Asset Liability Capital Management policy changes and implementation of new policies.
  • Preparation of performance reviews or net interest margin analysis through benchmark studies and ad hoc exercises.
  • Deliver commercial initiatives through the optimal use of the balance sheet.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain strong working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of market development and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with rapidly changing internal and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University degree and or professional qualification in a risk management discipline
  • Good understanding of liquidity risk or structural interest rate risk management, including knowledge of new regulatory requirements such as Basel principles.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound commercial acumen.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Proven capacity to effectively prioritise tasks.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive working attitude.
