We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager Corporate Services and Amenities.

Principal responsibilities

  • Manages the catering contract for the provision of employee catering and benefits ensuring that Key Performance Indicators, targets and Service Level Agreements are met
  • Discusses strategy for catering with Senior Corporate Services and Event Manager, this would include price increases, development of new food concepts, opening and closing of operations, environmental, hygiene and safety requirements and policy governing the use of the facilities
  • Discusses daily operation with caterers and ensures strategy and agreed Key Performance Indicators or Service Level Agreements are met
  • Monitoring caterers and related accounts through invoice and inventory control measures, stock checks and reconciliation of billing
  • Monitoring monthly expenditure and recovery from charges or cost center reports and caterers Profit and Loss statements, queries discrepancies. Prepare monthly accrual and account reconciliation. Submits yearly budget proposal for catering areas and other related services.
  • Provides event support for key events and senior management as required

  • University degree in hospitality, business, marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as networking and collaborating skills
  • Experience in project and vendor management
  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
