Role Summary:

The position is responsible to assist the AVP/Senior Director, Process Optimization, in devising, planning and implementing the business or regulatory initiatives to ensure the deliverables achieve the target objectives and missions, as well as their compliance with the relevant procedures and legislation. With an aim to streamline the operational processes and enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness, the position holder contributes to the drawing up of relevant proposals, recommendations, policies and measures, in order to cope with the evolving legislative requirements, customer expectation, business prospect and directions, as well as the corporate strategy. To this end, the position holder is tasked to assist the AVP/Senior Director to conduct feasibility study, business analysis, process or system assessment, where the holder is engaged in ongoing liaison with various stakeholders throughout the planning, monitoring and implementation stages.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist to plan and implement EB customer service and operation initiatives to complement the company's strategic pillars and business objectives.
  • Assist to draw up procedures and good practices leading to operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Conduct research and compile statistics for the formulation of policies and measures leading to operational efficiency, service excellence and compliance with the regulatory requirements.
  • In light of the latest legislative changes, amongst others, the eMPF on the pipeline, help address possible gaps and opportunities by making recommendations for procedural or system change.
  • Render support to promulgate the usage of electronic solutions to meet the future challenge of the industry, tag on the development of eMPF and increasing extent of e-means applications.
  • Observe the procedures to monitor the implementation of initiatives and escalate any issues to management.
  • Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders as and when necessary.
  • Prepare management reports or papers as required.
  • Provide secondary support to QA function overseen by the AVP.
  • Take up ad hoc tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Degree holder in any discipline.
  • Over 10 years' working experience in compliance/risk management/project management/business process management/operation preferably in pension sector.
  • Possess solid knowledge of the retirement benefits, pension market, MPF legislation and its system.

  • Self-starter who works independently and proactively
  • Competent in logical and analytical attributes
  • Effective and collaborative team player, able to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese language
