Delivering high-quality research and analysis to investors around the world, the Global Research team covers economics, currencies, equities, fixed income and climate change to help our clients best navigate and make sense of turbulent global financial markets. Global Research offers fundamental, cross-asset, technical and quantitative analysis presented through multiple platforms and formats.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate, Equity Research.

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the team with client requests, stock coverage, new stock coverage, contribute to thematic reports and other regular products
  • Develop investment strategies and provide insightful commentary on the latest financial news flow for respective companies covered. Produce specific research relevant to global industry developments and trends
  • Assist with internal leadership and help manage and build client relationships, including senior management, and institutional and corporate clients
  • Contribute to the drafting process of company reports, flashnotes and sector reports under the guidance of more senior analysts
  • Utilize market data applications such as Bloomberg and Datastream
  • Identify, collect and maintain news flow & data that influence and affect the company, sector or asset class


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Some financial industry experience
  • Familiar with the operation of a large global banks and its culture
  • In depth understanding of fundamental analysis and the transport industry in Asia Pacific countries
  • Good presentation skills, experience in media interviews
  • Solid communication skills and good insights on global development
  • Strong quantitative to lead on rigorous macro analysis in the region
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a culturally diverse team
