Our client, a leading private wealth management company, is looking for a new member to join their compliance team to support their daily activities.

Your new role

• Conduct transaction monitoring reviews and investigate unusual or suspicious account activities, escalating potential AML, sanctions, and financial crime risks where necessary.
• Perform name screening and adverse media reviews to identify PEP, sanctions, reputational, and other compliance-related risks.
• Support the AML Compliance team in ensuring monitoring and screening activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of experience in AML, Transaction Monitoring, Name Screening, Financial Crime Compliance, or KYC within a bank or financial institution.
• Hands-on experience investigating transaction monitoring alerts, sanctions screening alerts, PEP matches, adverse media findings, and other potential financial crime risks.
• Good understanding of AML regulations, sanctions requirements, and financial crime risk management, with the ability to identify, assess, and escalate suspicious activities.
