An exciting opportunity has recently been available for a bright and enthusiastic business management professional to join the COO office of this leading multinational bank. The successful candidate will be working under the Global Debt Financing division driving process improvement and business performance on aircraft leasing as well as ship leasing.


  • Assist in implementation of financial, operational and management controls analysis and planning as well as ensure teams' delivery into the profitability targets
  • Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through acquisition of new quality customers
  • Effective management of all aspects of business risk, and work to mitigate and effectively manage risks within the business
  • Work collaboratively with other global businesses, product and service partners to deliver on projects, enhancements and updates to improve outcomes for the business and clients
  • Manage financials and budgeting process through analysis of cost allocations
  • Prepare management reporting which includes monthly results and quarterly reviews and presentation decks
  • Keep abreast of external factors influencing international business e.g. economic, cultural, geographical, procedural and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with global office to execute global initiatives for the branch
  • Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment


  • Degree qualified
  • Minimum 10+ years in the banking industry and at least 5 years must be compliance or business management
  • Previous experience in aircraft leasing/ ship leasing/ loan syndication
  • Able to initiate improved processes, products and services so as to increase the profitability of the business
  • Possess excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Good people leadership skills and able to motivate team members to challenge the norm and look for improvement opportunity to meet or exceed expectations and manage team efficiency
  • Possess an excellent understanding of the regulatory requirements and legal framework
