About the Application:



J.P. Morgan Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Digital Product and Services group provides ownership and oversight of applications across the entire lifecycle – Pre-Trade, Trading and Post-Trade.



 



The Asia Market Execution Digital Intelligence specialist will deliver metrics, analysis and insights on users and the usage of multiple apps available across the investment bank’s digital spectrum to enable the executives and product team in making better data-driven business decisions.



 



The incumbent will play a key role for helping the Markets Execution team providing valuable insights based on meaningful analysis of multiple data sources. The position requires strong technical, analytical, communication skills as well as experience with business intelligence tools and programming languages. The individual needs to have the ability to work with different teams in a constantly changing environment.



 



Key Responsibilities:





  • Work with Digital Intelligence and Product Services teams to enhance Alteryx workflow tool, helping business, product, UX and developers across CIB to link data together, create and maintain workflows, identifying relevant insights, and improve the efficiency of the report-generating process across




  • Articulate Alteryx use cases and create in-depth analysis and reports to support business, product, and UX teams, and foster data-driven business culture across CIB




  • Create Alteryx Macros within J.P. Morgan CIB environment




  • Deploy, manage and maintain the Alteryx Server




  • Hold monthly internal workshops with different stakeholder groups in J.P. Morgan CIB




  • Become the J.P. Morgan CIB Alteryx ACE (Analytics Certified Expert)




  • Be the central point for education on Alteryx in the CIB





 



Key Skills





  • Experience with web and/or mobile analytics and technology tools




  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (QlikView, Tableau) and data visualization




  • Working knowledge of statistics packages (R, SPSS, Weka, SAS)




  • Experience in creating, running and automating A/B testing




  • Working knowledge of Splunk, Oracle, Hadoop, Cassandra, Spark, etc




  • Advanced skills in Excel (macros, pivot tables, v-lookup) and SQL




  • Advanced knowledge of Alteryx



     





Desired Skills





  • Business acumen




  • Experience in the financial markets




  • Knowledge of Jira or other project management tools




  • Excellent Communications Skills





 



The successful candidate should also possess the following attributes:





  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience




  • Strong work ethic, self-starter who is creative with a ‘can-do’ attitude




  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation




  • Team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment




  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work with tight deadlines




  • Organization skills, be able to prioritize task based on priority level



     





 



Experience Required





  • 6+ years of experience in capital markets with ability to understand both buy and sell side workflows
