Description

Role Objectives:
  • Working with the Citi Investor Services global marketing head, this role will support all four product lines across the IS business to provide marketing tools and develop marketing programs, aimed at increasing awareness both internally and externally and ultimately to assist and support business growth
Key Responsibilities:

Events Marketing and Sponsorships:
  • Working closely with key stakeholders, peers and 3rd party conference/exhibition organizers, to identify and maintain a comprehensive master list of key events/conferences, seminars and roadshows, to ensure that the business is pro-actively securing relevant attendance and speaker opportunities wherever possible
Thought Leadership:
  • Develop content and build launch plans for new publications to include: design, press release, client engagement strategy
Press Strategy:
  • Develop press releases around messages/announcements approved by the business
  • Partner with corporate communications to develop release and press strategy
Collateral:
  • Partner with the sales and trading teams to develop and maintain a suite of practical sales support tools for products including but not limited to;
    • Fact/slip sheets
    • Brochures
    • Pitch books
    • Presentations
Internal Marketing:
  • To assist with the establishment and development of a Citi Investor Services internal marketing communications process, including the development of monthly updates of all marketing activity, writing internal announcements, developing quarterly newsletters around network enhancements, relevant communication update of relevant topics and news items across the Citi Investor Services division
Web Site Development:
  • Working in coordination with designated product experts and the head of marketing to lead the development of content and design for the development of the IS presence on Citi Velocity strategy and the overall Citi web strategy
Award Submissions:
  • In coordination with the broader marketing and public affairs efforts of the Markets business in conjunction with the Corporate Press team, to identify, develop and manage all key award/accolade opportunities and in tandem with corporate communications function, to be responsible for the timely submission as well marketing of award successes and acknowledgements
General:
  • Coordinate across products, business heads, legal, compliance, corp comms to secure all necessary approvals for all material developed for the IS business


Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:
  • 5+ years marketing and communications experience from a leading financial institution - ideally experience in Markets but not mandatory
  • Experience working in complex global institutions with teams and functions across multiple geographies
  • Bachelor's Degree required/Graduate degree preferred

  • Must be organized and proficient at prioritizing and multi-tasking

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft applications, including advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Experienced in the use of Graphics applications and Digital Marketing Tools a must
  • Experience using graphics programs including InDesign and Quark preferred
