Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of AI and data solutions, from business demand intake and solution design through implementation, adoption and outcome measurement.
- Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, document current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs, technical requirements and delivery constraints into practical solution designs and clear delivery plans.
- Identify and assess AI and data use cases that address business challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Define and prioritise the delivery backlog, solution scope, milestones, dependencies and deployment plans in line with business priorities.
- Apply Agile and Scrum delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, progress reporting and impediment resolution.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coach delivery teams and help bridge business requirements with the appropriate technical approach.
- Lead process improvement, change management, user adoption and benefits-measurement activities.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, priorities, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
- Identify, assess and mitigate delivery, AI/data, operational and project governance risks.
- Ensure project outcomes comply with relevant governance requirements and AI/data risk standards.
- Maintain awareness of emerging AI and data technologies and their potential application within the energy sector.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT project delivery, programme management, solution delivery in AI, data, analytics and delivery management.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent are preferred.
- Proven experience delivering IT projects or programmes from requirements definition through implementation and adoption.
- Experience translating business needs into clear solution requirements, designs, delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
- Practical understanding of AI, machine learning, automation, analytics, process improvement and data-related solutions.
- Experience using or working with analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Technical fluency and the ability to engage effectively with technical teams; hands-on software development experience is not essential.
- Strong stakeholder-management, communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
- Experience managing multiple initiatives, competing priorities, delivery dependencies and complex stakeholder expectations.
- Experience identifying and managing delivery, AI/data and operational risks.
- Demonstrated ability to support process change, user adoption and benefits realisation.
