We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Data Governance Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead data management and data governance activities, ensuring data practices comply with regulations of all geographies under remit.
  • Develop, manage and ensure data tools and templates are fitting for business needs and comply with regulations
  • Work with internal stakeholders to determine business needs in the areas of data maintenance and data governance
  • Manage governance for working groups and decision making forums
  • Coordinate and align data governance activities across multiple work streams
  • Support local activities to improve understanding of Data Management initiatives
    Responsible for tracking data quality remediation plans across Line of Businesses
  • Helps prepare for Country Level Data Executive forums
  • Implement Operational Effectiveness into BAU
  • Assist with Assurance Audit on Operational Effectiveness
  • Gather requirements across lines of businesses to contribute to business value add initiatives

  • Bachelor Degree or International Equivalent
  • Banking experience with good knowledge of investment banking or Retail Banking
  • Excellent written and verbal communications kills, and presentation skills preferred
  • Organized and well structured
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Solid years' work experience in data management, with strong awareness of industry Data Quality practice, Tools and Processes
  • Strong research, analysis and report writing skills are essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client oriented
  • Self-motivated, focused, detailed oriented and able to work efficiently to deadlines are essential
  • Ability to work with a degree of autonomy while also being able to work in a collaborative team
